Absolutely amazing vegan sushi, so much love and care went into each piece! The flavours were incredible and they looked so beautiful! :) I wish I could back there everyday. The lady who served us was so lovely and attentive, giving us a potato’s salad appetiser that was delicious. Turkey the best sushi I have eaten! Thank you:)

The food was incredibly tasty and beautiful to look at. I was so amazed how the subtle flavors of the vegetables and other vegan ingredients came together. We were offered a small appetizer before our food arrived and hot Hochija in the end. The staff is very nice and thoughtful. We will definitely go there again! Please take cash with you, since it’s cash-only. All vegans and also non-vegans: be sure to check this gem out after visiting the Engaku-ji!!!

Absolutely incredible vegan sushi best ever! Such care and the highest level of execution and thought in each piece creates an amazing and unique experience unlike anything I’ve ever had! The iced coffee is delicious and the miso soup is the best I’ve ever had! Absolutely worth the trip and even if you are not vegan! *Note cash only establishment as if Mar 2026

Surrounded by many vegan places but this small place opens earlier. It was 9.30 in the morning so I couldn't get any sushi but only porridge. Small portion but it kept me full for half day at kamakura even I walked a lot. I can say the little bowl with light taste but nutritious. Lovely and gentle owner. Thank you for the meal!

The best vegan sushi. Creative, authentic. Non vegans go anyways. It’s tasty and healthy. I chose the 12piece set. Two of them are seasonal ones.

Went to Kita-Kamakura on our last day of stay in Japan, as a group of 4 Vegans on our way to the station we stumbled upon this Restaurant and just went in. Whoever thinks Sushi needs fish to taste good, hasn't eaten Sushi that is this good as the sushi from this restaurant, everything is well thought of and served with thoughtfulness. It's well prepared, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very slow paced and takes you out of the stress Tokyo emits. One of the best, if not the best sushi I have ever eaten. A must place to go to for everyone that is Vegan or wants to eat sushi without fish. Anyone that walks in and comes out with a 1-Star rating, has never cooked something and doesn't know how to develop a taste for something new.

10/10! Best vegan sushi I've ever had, it's so beautiful and creative, I can't even remember which one was my favorite since I loved them all! I ordered the 12 piece set for 2400 yen which came with an appetizer and delicious miso soup. The staff were so sweet and the food was such a great experience. If you're in kamakura definitely stop by! Make sure to check their hours since I think they are closed Wednesday and Thursday. Can't wait to go back on my next Japan trip!

Beautiful and tasty sushi which is fully made of vegetables! It feels the same as ordinal tuna or squad, but it tastes awesome. I thought I could eat a lot, seriously. Ideas to let vegetables look like sushi are mind-blowing, but they are truly yummy!
